Did you see this email? We're only one week away from the premiere of the CAREdocumentary, happening the day after Labor Day. Critically, the film helps make the people who do invisible labor visible and the conversations it sparks could put us on the road to bringing our home care system back from the breaking point. Will you sign up for a CARE watch party?
Yes, I’d like to host or attend a CARE watch party.
No, I can't attend, but I can pledge to watch the documentary.
Thanks!

CARE, a powerful new documentary that shows the dynamics of care and caregiving relationships, is premiering the day after Labor Day on the PBS World Channel and the filmmakers need your help to get the word out. Will you sign up for a CARE watch party?

No, I can't attend, but I can pledge to watch the documentary.

It’s not easy to talk about caring for each other as we grow old or become unable to take care of ourselves, but the CARE broadcast might just be the meaningful opportunity that many of us need to do it.
It couldn’t come at a better time. 90% of Americans want to age at home, but our home care system is at a breaking point. If we ever hope to preserve and build a home care system that can work for everyone, we’re going to need to start having conversations about it now. Will you sign up and help make some of those conversations happen?
Yes, I’d like to host or attend a CARE watch party.
No, I can't attend, but I can pledge to watch the documentary.
CARE is a moving and powerful film that shows the dynamics of care and caregiving relationships—something we don't often see on TV or in the movies. Using personal stories, it connects the dots between care workers and families, and shows how stretched the system is for everyone. In most areas, it will air on the PBS World Channel on Tuesday, September 5 at 8 PM Eastern, 9 PM Pacific (Check here for local listings).
Would you consider hosting a watch party for your friends and neighbors during the broadcast? We’ll provide a watch party guide and plenty of suggested discussion topics to make sure you get the most out of your watch party.
Watch parties are important because they bring people together to experience the film, share their feelings and reactions, and channel them into discussion and action. Your watch party will help your friends and neighbors get involved in the movement to change the way we care.
