"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
We are free. As celebrants of our freedom, it's our job to tell others about how they can be free. It might be your neighbor, your co-worker, your grocery checker, it doesn't matter. It is whoever God puts on your heart.
So celebrate the 4th of July. Celebrate our independent nation. But also remember to celebrate the fact that you are now free from sin. And because we are free, it's our duty to help others to freedom.
