Our God is Missional
Psalm 96:2 Sing to Adonai, bless his name!
Proclaim his victory day after day!
3 Declare his glory among the nations,
his wonders among all peoples!
Exodus 19:5 Now if you will pay careful attention to what I say and keep my covenant, then you will be my own treasure from among all the peoples, for all the earth is mine; 6 and you will be a kingdom of cohanim for me, a nation set apart.’ These are the words you are to speak to the people of Isra’el.”
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but rather so that through him, the world might be saved.
Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Ruach HaKodesh comes upon you; you will be my witnesses both in Yerushalayim and in all Y’hudah and Shomron, indeed to the ends of the earth!”
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people,[1 Peter 2:9 Isaiah 43:20; Deuteronomy 7:6; 10:15] the King’s cohanim,[1 Peter 2:9 Exodus 19:6; Isaiah 61:6] a holy nation,[1 Peter 2:9 Exodus 19:6] a people for God to possess![1 Peter 2:9 Isaiah 43:21; Exodus 19:5] Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; before, you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.[1 Peter 2:10 Hosea 2:25(23)] (Complete Jewish Bible)

By His very nature God is a "sent one" who takes the initiative to redeem His creation.
Jesus sends His Spirit to help us change the world.
We are a holy priesthood.
This is the whole of Christianity. There is nothing else. It is so easy to get muddled about that. It is easy to think that that the church has a lot of different objects-education, building, missions, holding services...the church exists for nothing else but to draw men into Christ, to make them little Christs. If they are not doing that, all the cathedrals, clergy, missions, sermons, even the Bible itself, are simply a waste of time. God became Man for no other purpose. (C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity (1952; Harper Collins: 2001)199).
How is being Missional applies to The Global Methodist Nazarene Lambs Hope in its operation and practice?
How does mission apply to our daily tasks?
God gave us a mission, which is important.
A relationship has to do with giving into the relationship, not what I can get out of it.
This is the mission of God to do fellowship with people with disabilities along with their families.
Look at God's call to Abram in Genesis.
God calls to be bless, but to bless others.
God promises to Moses and Israel in Exodus.
To be God's priest towards other people.
Our desires to be God's desires for the church and each of us.
Missional is not emergent or evangelistic or a new way for church growth or social justice.
Proper understanding of missional is to understand God's purpose to restore humanity.
God brings, we receive and give.
Examples are woman caught in adultery or the feeding of the many or the healing of the man controlled by demons.
The greatest mission of God is Jesus coming to us and living among us.
God is missional even when we leave Him alone.
God is missional when He sent the Spirit of Jesus to us to teach us and lead us to Him and live our lives for Him in fullness.
We never do anything alone. We always need us to learn from others, teach others, and be with others.
In the Christian life, we not need the full God, but other pepple to assist us to be all God calls us to be.
We are totally reliant on Jesus for what He has done for us, is doing with us, and will be doing with and for us.
God is a sending God. God is missional God.
To be missional is to use what we have for God's purpose in building His Kingdom on earth as it will be in Heaven.
Be witnesses in all we do and are in actions and words as we behave more Christlike by His power and other people.
We need to be missional by active communication in listening and speaking with God.
We must be willing to say yes to God.
This is God's calling of The Global Methodist Nazarene Lambs Hope. God will bless in congregation involved with this ministry.
