Thanksgiving is a time to be with family and to be thankful for God’s blessings. You, our visionary Reconciling United Methodists, are our family for whom we are exceedingly grateful.
So far this year, we have added almost 40 new Reconciling Churches and Communities: United Methodist spaces where LGBTQ people are fully celebrated, protected, and affirmed. As we near the end of this year, the table is more full. The conversations are deeper. The family is larger.
Your support opens the doors of the Church to LGBTQ people; more LGBTQ children will grow up in faith communities sure of God's love; and more Christian communities will more authentically reflect Christ's message of radical reconciliation in the days and years to come.
As we near General Conference 2019, we pause from the work of legislative strategy and the anxiety that is building for a moment of gratitude for you and the investments of time, resources, and witness you’ve poured into the movement. This work would not have been possible without you.
