Missions: Global and Local
Matthew 14:13-20

Matthew 14:13 On hearing about this, Yeshua left in a boat to be by himself in the wilderness. But the people learned of it and followed him from the towns by land. 14 So when he came ashore, he saw a huge crowd; and, filled with compassion for them, he healed those of them who were sick.
15 As evening approached, the talmidim came to him and said, “This is a remote place and it’s getting late. Send the crowds away, so that they can go and buy food for themselves in the villages.” 16 But Yeshua replied, “They don’t need to go away. Give them something to eat, yourselves!” 17 “All we have with us,” they said, “is five loaves of bread and two fish.” 18 He said, “Bring them here to me.” 19 After instructing the crowds to sit down on the grass, he took the five loaves and the two fish and, looking up toward heaven, made a b’rakhah. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the talmidim, who gave them to the crowds. 20 They all ate as much as they wanted, and they took up twelve baskets full of the pieces left over.

Today is Faith Promise Sunday:
  • A   can certainly be a "   "
  • A   that is "   "...
John 1:14 John 1: The Word became a human being and lived with us,
and we saw his Sh’khinah,
the Sh’khinah of the Father’s only Son,
full of grace and truth. - was to bring "Grace and "Truth

Jesus came that we might have life more abundantly!
Bringing  where there is
Piecing the Darkness with light
Not now not the place - this is what people say about including people intellectual disabilities
Lifting up Christ by lifting others up
Even the people with disabilities and their families
[I cannot believe that it happened at Mission Valley Church of the Nazarene in San Diego, California, United States where the Pastor talked with me that my son, James, cannot come to Mission Valley unless I am here. He s
Story of trip and tour of Israel.
Visiting where God walked as Jesus to remember what and whom He has called us to include in His church. There is where believers fight for spiritual lives as much as the people with disabilities do in this country.
We are Christian, Holiness, and Missional. After all people who disabled are part or should be fully in the church.
Remember, Jesus was on a mission to go to the cross.
We are able to be missional as Jesus was and is.
The church uses the World Evangelism for:

  • 700 missionary families
  • 175 countries
  • 10-40 window
  • Jesus film
  • Should be for People with Disabilities especially the People with Intellectual Disabilities

The people with disabilities are looking for Hope
I think now the Pastor and his wife are looking for Hope with the church and their child. Amen and Amen
How many people with disabilities and their families are looking for Hope
Jesus is still showing the church through lay people and clergy families who have family members with disabilities
I see the young people in INCOMMON who lift my son up as part of them
Faith Promise is trusting God to give to God what we cannot afford which means lay families and clergy families with disabled family members who will lead the church to be fully inclusive within the church.
These notes are from The sermon that Pastor Tony Miller preached with God thoughts about the full and active partipation of people with disabilities and families within the church
Prayer. Committment to Faith Promise. The Eucharist. Sending forth into the world.
