The Naz Youth Group is a family. We are a community of Christ-followers that exist to serve God. We also really like Dodgeball, come hang out with us!
15th Annual Chili Cook Off
One of our most favorite things is just around the corner! Our annual Chili Cook Off and Pie Auction is THIS Sunday, January 31st from 11:30pm-1:30pm. This is our biggest fundraising opportunity of the year to send teens from this community to summer camp. Last year we sent 300 teens to Summer or Winter camp - this is only possible with your support! The entry cost is $5/person and gets you a delicious chili lunch, after you eat get your bidding paddle ready and jump into the action.
Here are things you can do for the event:
- Make: Chili or Pie - this needs to be signed up for in advance, pies brought day of won't be able to make it in the auction.
- Bid on a pie: it's really fun and for the best cause ever.
- INVITE: everyone you know that loves teenagers.
Winter Camp Recap!
Two weeks ago we took a great group up to Camp Pondo for Winter Camp! We had a great time playing in the snow, learning about God's love for us, playing games, and bonding together. We are excited for the things we learned and talked about to continue to change the way we live and treat other people.
We are so thankful for you inviting us to be part of your families life. It's an honor to invest in your child's journey.
We are already starting to turn our focus towards summer camp - stay tuned in a few weeks for more information coming your way!

Parent Volunteers Needed
We have been blessed with a large number of students that call SDFC/The Naz Youth Group home. Due to large numbers of students in attendance and the desire to balance fun and safety we are creating a new parent volunteer position! We are looking for parents to serve by being present at Mid High from 5:45-8 on Wednesday evenings. The primary responsibility is to help contribute to our safe and fun atmosphere that lets students be themselves. The secondary responsibility is to be present for parents of students that might have questions or want to know more about youth group or church involvement. If this is something you're interested in being part of please contact Jeremy!
Specific Ways to Give & Serve
Camp Scholarships: We try our best to keep our Youth Group activities and events free or at a low cost; but sometimes it is difficult for a family to afford sending their teen(s). This year we gave over $10,000 in scholarships for students to attend winter camp, Elevate, and summer camps. We begin fundraising almost as soon as camp is over. If you would like to give a one-time donation or a monthly donation towards student scholarships talk to Jeremy or Rick!
