Better Together: an invitation to giving from First United Methodist Church of Redondo Beach, California, United States for Wednesday, 2 November 2016-------
All fall, our church has been celebrating how we are better together. Part of the strength of our congregation comes from the way we all work together to make amazing things possible. I invite you to reflect on what the ministries of this church mean to you, and how you can to support them.
This Sunday in worship, you will have an opportunity to make a pledge of financial support to our church for 2017. Your generosity in giving to the church makes it possible to have the facilities, staff and resources that enable so many life-changing ministries. Your pledge helps us make faithful plans to live out our mission. Your generosity enables your faith to take root in all parts of your life, including your finances.
We have a lot to celebrate in worship this Sunday. It is All Saints Sunday, so we will remember those who have died in this past year, whose memories continue to bless us. We will share Communion at 8:30, and Baptism at 10:30. We will also dedicate your pledges. In addition to pledges of financial giving, we encourage you to name other ways you will commit to living out your faith. You may also submit a pledge commitment online.
There are so many beautiful things happening in our church. We are grateful that you are a part of our community, and hope you will be a part of the effort to make our ministries even more incredible in the year to come.
