June is the month those of us who are either in school or have
children in school are thinking about transitions and
promotions. In fact, here at PazNaz, June 1st is promotion
Sunday. Children and youth will be moving up to their next grade
level and classes. As we look at transitions, I want to announce a transition that will be taking place within PazNaz’s Special
Needs Ministries, In His Image.
Our own Leslie Moreno recently graduated with her Masters of
Divinity from Azusa Pacific University. This is a great
accomplishment and I want to congratulate her on this. Leslie
has been with In His Image ministry for over two years. She has
done an amazing job as my assistant and I know she has
personally connected with many of you as well. As of Sunday,
June 1, 2014, Leslie is PazNaz’s new Young Adult Pastor. Thank
you Leslie for all you have done for and with the Special Needs
Ministries here at PazNaz. When you see Leslie please take a
minute to wish her well. She will still be here at PazNaz, just in a different role.
There are some exciting things coming up here at PazNaz and
within Special Needs Ministries. Please see the announcements
below for a specific listing of things coming up. Summer
Blockparty and VBS are two that I personally hope you will put
on your calendars.
