HEALTH-RELATED REQUESTS
Lumae’s Mother - Nali
Pray for the mother of missionary Lumae Yangmi, Nali, who is ill and hospitalized. Nali had gall bladder surgery and has been experiencing difficulty. Doctors have been able to reduce the infection and she is beginning to feel better and may be discharged soon. Pray for Nali, that God's healing touch will rest on her body and she will fully recover. Lumae and her husband, Samuel, are missionaries serving on the Asia-Pacific Region but are on home assignment in the U.S.A. Pray for them as well, being so far from Nali during her illness.
Terry Sanders
Terry Sanders, former missionary on the Asia-Pacific Region, is dealing with several complications after receiving a liver transplant. His family would appreciate your continued prayers.
BEREAVEMENT
Family of Mary Madsen
Mary Madsen was killed in a car accident on May 21. Her husband, Leslie, was injured in the crash but survived. Please be in prayer for the family during this time of pain and loss. Pray for Leslie's body to be healed and for the entire family to sense God's amazing comfort in the days ahead. A service for Mary will be held in Tavares, Florida, on June 14. She was the mother of Pam Tooley. Pam and her husband, Joel, served as missionaries in the USA/Canada Region and Costa Rica. They now pastor the Tavares Church of the Nazarene in Florida.
Thank you for praying.
"Jesus's resurrection is the beginning of God's new project not to snatch people away from earth to heaven but to colonize earth with the life of heaven. That, after all, is what the Lord's Prayer is about."(N.T.
