PRAISES:
Venezuela Church Planting Conference
The first church planting conference was held in Venezuela, April 27-29, with 50 Nazarene leaders participating. Praise God for these leaders, and pray that their plans for new churches in Venezuela will become a reality for God’s glory.
Churches in Democratic Republic of Congo
Thank the Lord for what He is doing through the Church of the Nazarene in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). In many of the villages, the churches have schools that are used for ministry. Missionary Gavin Fothergill writes, “There is such a spirit of unity and peace amongst the members and pastors there, with a real burden for the lost.” (Africa Region’s Out of Africa)

Pray for God's hand over the well-drilling ministry in Africa. Missionary Tim Eby says, “Our goal is not just to put a well in an area but to help the community to be transformed physically and spiritually. And with that testimony, village after village, we hope to win them for Christ.” (Africa Region’s Out of Africa
Missionary’s Children
Pray for the children of Nazarene missionaries who are undergoing a time of transition. Some may be preparing for separation from family and friends as they move to attend school in another area. Others are graduating from college and seeking employment. Still others may be traveling “home” for a visit to the world area where their parents serve as missionaries.

Please keep praying for the situation in Quito, Ecuador, where property taxes on the Nazarene Seminary and other church properties have risen more than 1000 percent this year. The lawyer continues to seek answers but no final word from authorities has been received.
