Dear Saint Paul Community,
The Strategic Planning Team of Saint Paul is working hard. You and your thoughts about Saint Paul over the next 3 to 5 years are valued and essential for their work. You may not be available for a focus group, but you can give us direct feedback through our online survey. If you need to stop at this moment and go to the survey.....as Ferris Bueller said after all the credits had rolled in the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off, "what are you waiting on? Go home!" or "Go to the survey now!" Thank you for helping us shape the future of theological education at Saint Paul.

We will celebrate seven years of Saint Paul: Oklahoma on Thursday, May 14 with a dinner underwritten by generous donors. The inaugural Bishop Robert E. Hayes, Jr. Award will be presented. I will share a summary of the evening and announce the Bishop Hayes Award recipients in the next eUpdate.

On May 21 Dr. Young Ho Chun will be honored for over thirty years of teaching and educational research at a Defining Lecture and Celebration Dinner at The Venue in Leawood, KS. Graduates and friends can send memories and messages of thanks for Dr. Chun to Tracy Miller,tracy.miller@spst.edu.

Graduation is just days away. This is the year you will want to attend the commencement of your choice.

On May 22 Saint Paul: Church of the Resurrection Commencement Ceremony will be held at the Main Sanctuary in Building C at 4:00 pm. The Alumni/ae Luncheon will be at noon. Please make reservations by May 18th if you plan to attend. The Distinguished Graduate Award will be presented during Commencement. The Rev. Bishop Sundo Kim, founding pastor of The Kwanglim Methodist Church in South Korea, is the speaker. Kwanglim is the largest Korean Methodist Church in the world with 94,000 members. On May 29 Saint Paul: Oklahoma City University will hold Commencement in the Bishop W. Angie Smith Chapel at 4:00 pm. There 

will be a luncheon for the graduates and alums at 1:00 pm. Please make reservations by May 21st. Rev. David Wiggs is the speaker for the ceremony. Rev. Wiggs is the Senior Pastor of Boston Avenue UMC in Tulsa, a Saint Paul alum, and is an amazing testimony to the power of United Methodist campus ministry in the formation and shaping of a call to ministry.

The Saint Paul Honors and Awards Celebration will be held on May 13. I'll highlight the honors and awards recipients over the next couple of eUpdates.
