THURSDAY Sep 17: Grief Ministry continues the book study led by Rev. Karen Lampe on Thursdays through Oct 22: Beyond the Broken Heart: A Journey Through Grief by Julie Yarbrough, Room C144. "Beginning the Journey" led by Darry Holtz, also continues with week 3 of this 5-week small group for newcomers who have only recently begun the grief journey (Room C144b).

THIS THURSDAY Sep 17 - A Life That Multiplies. The Butterfly Effect refers to the ability for one small action to cause large tidal waves in the future. This is the type of multiplication that happens whether we know it or not. This Thursday's message will show how a decision can multiply and how to multiply the right things. Check-in for Live Well's Emotional Wellness program continues for newcomers this Thursday September 17 at 5:30 pm in Room C141 to receive your room assignment. All those who attended last week may skip check-in and proceed straight to their classrooms in C131-C139. This course closes after this week to anyone not registered.

This Thursday, September 17 we'll get together for our first RezVets meeting of the fall. In this program, we'll hear from "Military Matters" an organization providing pro bono legal work for veterans who are in trouble. The program begins at 6:30 pm in room C028 in the lower level of Building C at Church of the Resurrection, Leawood, KS. If joining us for the 5:30 pm Care Night dinner before class, we will sit together at tables on the left-hand side of the room as you face the stage in the Student Center. Next week, at our Oct 1st program, we will hear from leading researchers from UMKC about a recently conducted veterans needs assessment in our community.

Thursday Sep 17 at ST@RZ (Singles Thriving at Resurrection) - Urban Ministry Training: We will be trained to do ministry beyond the walls of Resurrection - led by Roberta Lyle and Ron Smith. Next week (Sep 24) we continue with the 2nd half of the Brene Brown study "The Gifts of Imperfection" on authenticity, self-compassion, and resilient spirit.
Single Mothers Group meets weekly on Thursdays in Room B233 at 6:30pm. If you come to the meal at 5:30pm, you are welcome to eat with our Single Mothers in the overflow, room C136. Come and enjoy being with other women on the same journey of single motherhood! You are welcome!
