Every day the Center for Action and Contemplation offers messages to awaken a more compassionate and just world. As you read the Daily Meditations, we pray that your heart and mind will be opened to both receiving and giving away Love. This mutual flow is the foundation of reality, and we’re all called to participate in the sacred dance.
Twice a year we pause the Daily Meditations to invite your support so that we can keep sharing these free messages. In tomorrow’s email, we’ll continue exploring Jesus as Scapegoat, the Crucified One who leads us down the transformative path.
If your life has been blessed in some way by these messages, please take a minute to read a note from Michael, our Executive Director, about how you can help us rebuild spirituality “from the bottom up,” and make a donation today.

Friend,
This year the Daily Meditations are focused on what we believe is the basic pattern of all reality: God as loving relationship. More than at any other time in our 30 years of ministry, this feels vital.
In a world divided by fear, Father Richard draws upon ancient wisdom that honors our diversity and recalls our inherent union with all life. Rooted in Christian and Franciscan traditions, his messages are for anyone and everyone who seeks meaning, from any or no faith.
My own life has been profoundly impacted by Father Richard’s teaching. Until several years ago, I worked on intense conflict situations in central Africa. Richard’s work supported my capacity to practice trust amidst profound human suffering and to draw from a bigger Source “working all things together for good,” toward healing and wholeness.
Now I am honored to lead CAC in amplifying Richard’s voice around the world. It takes a dedicated team to curate, research, edit, and share the meditations online through email, our website, and social media. This labor of love costs the CAC over $160,000 each year.
If your life is blessed in some way by the Daily Meditations, will you support our work by making a donation?
If each person reading this message contributed just $1, it would more than cover the cost of producing the Daily Meditations and help us reach more people. As Richard says, we try to stay “on the edge of the inside” with just enough structure and simple freedom to allow unrestricted, unboundaried love to flow freely.
Help us spread Father Richard’s teaching by making a donation today.
We couldn't do this without you! Thank you for helping us rebuild our faith and our world from the bottom up, grounding our actions in the subtle awareness of being one in Love.
Peace and Every Good,

Michael Poffenberger
Executive Director, Center for Action and Contemplation
