29Palms Sunday – This Sunday, April 8th at 4pm - Come and hear an update from Steve Webb who is pastoring 29Palms Nazarene. This will be a time of questions and answers regarding our work at 29Palms Nazarene. Everyone is invited to attend! Hope to see you there. It will last one hour. It will be held in the coffee house at Gateway. It’s not really Palms Sunday for your literalists out there so no emails.
CELEBRATE RECOVERY GET ACQUAINTED BBQ - On Monday April 16th at 5:30 pm, Celebrate Recovery is having a BBQ for anyone interested in learning more about the Celebrate Recovery ministry. For more information please contact Nick Tudor at 951-704-0608 or email him at croatdaddy@gmail.com
YOUTH AFTERGLOW - Remember when? When you were a teen and the great times you had after church on Sunday Nights at an “Afterglow”? Raise your hand if you remember! I see that, thank you. Well, we are entering negotiations to revive this ministry, but we need homes to host the young people. It will be safe since security will be provided by Susan Yeager, Wally’s wife, so no need to worry. A light refreshment would be appreciated. If you are interested in feeling young again, please contact Pastor Wally at wyeager@gatewaynaz.org.
Remember When?
Faith-IN-Motion - A mother with 3 small children needs clothing and diapers. Clothing size 9 months for a girl, 18-24 months for a boy, and 2T for a boy. SAVE THE DATE – All Church Potluck - Our next quarterly All-Church Pot Luck will be held on April 29th right after the second service. This has proved to be a time of fellowship, fun and lots of good food so put it on your calendars to attend. The church will furnish paper goods, drinks and eating utensils. We bring the food! So, don’t be food-less, get there early with your favorite dish or dishes.
SAVE THE DATE - PRIME TIME RETREAT – It’s not too late to sign up for this year’s Prime Time Layman’s Retreat. Put April 23-26 on your calendar and get signed up TODAY. • May 27th—Let’s Be Real for 5th GradersWe have a busy schedule for the next few months for our Children’s Department.
