RESPONSE TO HLC
In a collaboration between the Executive Leadership and Response Teams, Saint Paul has employed an integrative and data-driven approach to decision making designed to position the seminary for sustainability and growth. In support of our strategic plan and mission:
Implementation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) driving data informed decision making.
Development and implementation of a monthly financial guide for the Board and Saint Paul Executive Team.
Clearly informing the accrediting bodies of our financial strengths via ratio analysis. This will provide further proof of our financial strengths.
Implementation of a sustainable budget.
Finally, implementation of a strategic planning cycle/roadmap to ensure the strategic plan, goals, and priorities are consistently reviewed.
FLEXIBLE LEARNING EXPERIENCE
Saint Paul School of Theology announces a new FLEX schedule for theological education. The FLEX schedule provides the potential to expand our student reach beyond our core student population in the Midwest. Students will receive a more Flexible Learning EXperience that combines convenience and community opportunities with intentional academic scheduling.
Online Classes: Academic lectures and course work are taken remotely via computer instead of on-campus. United Methodist students may take all but one-third of their classes online according to ATS and UMC regulations.
Hybrid Classes: Combines online learning with on-campus learning and community building 2-3 times a year.
On-Campus Classes: Traditional, face-to-face, classroom learning connected via video between our Kansas and Oklahoma campuses.
