Autism Speaks corporate partners make our work possible and play a vital role in helping individuals and families affected by autism. We'd like to thank those who are engaged with us during World Autism Month, some of whom are highlighted below.
Dollar General supports Autism Speaks for 9th year
Dollar General and their over 14,000 stores across the US will be accepting donations on behalf of Autism Speaks throughout April. This will the 9th year of our partnership which has generated in excess of $10 million.

Dollar General is the nation's largest discount retailer with over 12,500 stores across 43 states, and a leading Autism Speaks corporate partner; bringing hope to families with autism since 2010. With unbelievable focus and passion, Dollar General employees and customers have seen their annual fundraising results increase from $400,000 in 2010 to more than $1.2 million in 2016 for a 7-year total of over $8 million through 2016!
Each year, during April Autism Awareness Month, Dollar General employees offer customers the opportunity to make a donation to Autism Speaks during check-out. The in store campaign is a model of success in raising awareness and funds for individuals and families affected by autism, raising more than $1,254,000 in 2015! In recent years, Dollar General has also allowed their stores to host free clinical screenings for young children to empower families through information and access to care. Hats off to Dollar General’s employees and customers – you are an inspiration to us all!

White Castle celebrates 10th year supporting the autism community!
Autism Speaks is grateful to White Castle for its 10th year of supporting the autism community through their in-castle fundraising campaign, which now totals more than $6 million in donations.

Since 2009, led by the Ingram family, White Castle has been feeding hunger, hopes and dreams in collaboration with Autism Speaks to change the lives of individuals and families affected by autism. As the first hamburger chain started in 1921, the company has grown to more than 390 “Castles” throughout the East Coast and Midwest. Over the past 7 years, White Castle has contributed nearly $4 million dollars through in-store campaigns and personal Ingram family donations, making them one of our largest and most dedicated Autism Speaks corporate partners to date.
This year, White Castle was determined to beat their amazing $650,000 2014 campaign by inviting WC cravers to make a donation of $1, $3 or $5 with every sale during 2015 Autism Awareness Month. We are indebted to White Castle for their continued passion and support. A HUGE ‘Thank You’ to White Castle and all the cravers that have contributed to this amazing partnership!

Home Depot and Phillps continue to Light It Up Blue
Home Depot and Philips Lighting are working together again in 2018 to help everyone light it up blue by offering blue light bulbs for sale at their 2,000+ Home Depot stores across the US. This is the 7th year of our partnership which has raised in excess of $1 million.

Home Depot is shining a light on autism! For the sixth consecutive year, in collaboration with Autism Speaks, Home Depot is selling specially packaged Philips blue light bulbs to ‘Light It Up Blue’ in celebration of April 2nd World Autism Awareness Day. The specially marked ‘Light It Up Blue’ bulbs are available throughout all Home Depot stores in the United States and Canada beginning in early March. Home Depot commits to a generous $150,000 donation in support of Autism Speaks. Thank you Home Depot for raising awareness and funds to help families affected by autism.
