This Giving Tuesday is especially exciting, as The United Methodist Church will match every donation up to $1 million!
Tomorrow is "Giving Tuesday" (#givingtuesday), a day for charitable giving in response to the shopping-centered "Black Friday," and "Cyber Monday."
The United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries is matching, up to $1 million, all donations given online through The Advance. Imagine No Malaria is included in The Advance and the amount donated will be credited to the California-Pacific Conference towards its God-sized goal of $3 million.
Be sure to select Imagine No Malaria as the The Advance and identify your Cal-Pac local church in the donation.
The Cal-Pac has successfully raised almost $1 million and our gifts this Tuesdaycan help bring us even closer to our goal. People around the world will be making contributions on Giving Tuesday to extend the spirit of giving thanks into the Advent season.
Indeed, there is much to be thankful for as we enter this holiday season. The Cal-Pac Conference could not have reached the $1 million mark without our working together. This Tuesday, we have the opportunity to move even closer to realizing our $3 million God-sized goal. This Tuesday, together, we can get just that much closer to beating malaria!
