Movies bring our community together in more ways than one...

SUPPORT FOR GEORGE & CATHIE GEZZER

If you hadn't heard, two long time residents of our community lost most of their home to a fire Wednesday morning. George is a 20 year Navy veteran and Cathie grew up in Normal Heights with many contributions to the neighborhood and more stories to tell. The church has created a blog post on Facebook on their situation and what you can do to help. The church puts out a donation jug on movie nights to help with the cost of studio licensing and park permits, but tomorrow 100% of movie night donations will go to the Gezzers.

Head on over to Adams Avenue Park and join your neighbors this Saturday at sundown. Normal Heights United Methodist Church and Adams Elementary will be hosting the movie Sing with music by many timeless song writers like Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, David Bowie, Cat Stevens - along with many modern hits. Everyone is encouraged to cheer and Sing along!
