Hundreds of children are still separated from their loved ones at the U.S.-Mexico border! This is outrageous.
Hundreds of children are still separated at the U.S.-Mexico border, and this is outrageous! Besides the trauma of being separated from their loved ones, we now know that some of these children have been sexually abused or worse, killed. We, as people of faith, will not stand by and let this happen without moral resistance!
Participate by posting a video to your social media about the "Week of Witness" (along with the hashtag #ReuniteEveryChild) and call on the Trump administration to reunite these families now! Consider singing a lullaby -- to be in solidarity with the parents who are recording lullabies and messages for the young children they are separated from.
If you are a church or house of worship, you can sign up to host an event during the "Week of Witness." It could be a prayer vigil or it could even be your regular worship gathering, if you plan to lift up the children separated at the border. Just fill out the "Host an Event" form linked on the Define American website.
