Let us, as the California-Pacific Conference, continue to keep in prayer the students, families, and communities affected by the shooting this week in Santa Barbara.Our United Methodist local churches in the Santa Barbara area are working together in an effort to provide a pastoral presence and compassionate community during this time of difficulty.
Reports are being made of UC students scheduling vigils in solidarity with UC Santa Barbara. The candlelight vigil at UCLA is scheduled for Monday, May 25th, 8PM at Royce Quad.
Share with the Cal-Pac Office of Communications (cpco@calpacumc.org) news of upcoming community events or spiritual engagement in the wake of this tragedy.
