And should I not have concern for the great city? (Jonah 4:11)
Have you ever noticed how important cities are to God?
While the Bible is filled with many examples of God’s care for the urban centers of the past, we are still reaching out to cities today. We have special evangelistic campaigns scheduled for five of the biggest and busiest cities in the world – New York City, Rio De Janeiro, Berlin, Budapest and Moscow.

We will, of course, be utilizing our tried and true bold approaches to evangelism from widespread distribution of broadside tracts and other publications, to use of display media (banners and billboards) and active engagement with Jewish people in one-on-one conversations and relationships.
But times have changed, and as we approach this summer we recognize the need to develop new approaches as well that will keep us on the cutting edge of creative witness. This includes a more extensive use of social media, specialized “issues-oriented” engagement with people through local surveys and even service projects in local communities that allow us to show the love of Messiah in very practical ways.
Investing heavily in specialized ministry to the cities is exactly the right thing for us to do and now is the right time to do it.
So I’m excited to ask you to make an over-and-above gift right now for this critically important over-and-above ministry to the cities.
I believe that through your prayers and generosity God is going to provide more than enough for reaching those in the cities who need to know Jesus. And I just can’t wait to report back to you all the new outreach strategies we will be launching, and all the blessings God will pour out as a result.
Shalom,
David Brickner
