Sunday Night Cafe
This Sunday night, May 4th, we will be having a special time of fellowship as we learn about God's work in the Asia-Pacific region. Annual Quilt Fair
First Church's group of quilters will be displaying their amazing creations from the last year on May 10 from noon to 4:00pm in the Fellowship Hall! All are invited to come and see their artistry.

Military Appreciation Dinner
american-flag-wavy.jpgOn May 30th, PrimeTime ministries will be hosting a Military Appreciation dinner at 6pm. This event will feature the Watchmen Quartet. The menu will include marinated chicken, potatoes, vegetables, and dessert. Tickets are $8 per person. If you or anyone in your family has served in any branch of our armed forces, PrimeTime would greatly appreciate having any military memorabilia to display at this event.

Calling All Educators & Support Staff!
On Friday, August 15, our PrimeTime Ministry is sponsoring an event to celebrate all school personnel in our congregation. If you would like to be a part of this celebration, please fill out one of our forms available in the tear-off section of the bulletin this Sunday!
Delegates to District Assembly
If you'd like to be considered for the upcoming ballot as a possible delegate to the annual District Assembly or NMI Convention, please call Linda in the church office (816.942.9022) by May 12. Elections will be held May 25 and June 1

If you have lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend you have probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt that you feel. KC First's GriefShare group meets on Saturdays at 10:00am to pray, discuss, and watch videos on relevant topics. Young Adult "Encounter"

Gentlemen, before beginning your Friday each week, enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast with a group of First Church men. We meet every Friday at 6:30am in the church atrium. Every first Friday of the month, we serve a hot breakfast. Contact Chip Kraft for more information.
