May is Older Americans Month!
2015 marks the 50th anniversary of the Older Americans Act, which provides services and supports to older Americans and their families. In honor of the Act, the theme for this year's Older Americans Month, Get Into the Act, focuses on health, community engagement, and making an impact on the lives of others. Check in your area for local events around the month.
The National Alliance for Caregiving is proud to celebrate Older Americans Month, by recognizing the importance of the Older Americans Act. We will host a Twitter chat on May 19th at 1:00 pm ET on the Act. Learn more about the chat, and join us on the 19th at #WeAreOAA on Twitter.
