Psalm 119:
ק (Kuf)
145 Wholeheartedly I am calling on you;
answer me, Adonai; I will keep your laws.
146 I am calling on you; save me;
and I will observe your instruction.
147 I rise before dawn and cry for help;
I put my hope in your word.
148 My eyes are open before the night watches,
so that I can meditate on your promise.
149 In your grace, hear my voice;
Adonai, in keeping with your justice, revive me.
150 The pursuers of carnality are getting close;
they are distancing themselves from your Torah.
151 You are close by, Adonai;
and all your mitzvot are truth.
152 Long ago I learned from your instruction
that you established it forever.
ר (Resh)
153 Look at my distress, and rescue me,
for I do not forget your Torah.
154 Plead my cause, and redeem me;
in keeping with your promise, revive me.
155 Salvation is far away from the wicked,
because they don’t seek your laws.
156 Great is your compassion, Adonai;
in keeping with your rulings, revive me.
157 Although my persecutors and foes are many,
I have not turned away from your instruction.
158 I look at traitors with disgust,
because they don’t keep your word.
159 See how I love your precepts, Adonai;
in keeping with your grace, revive me.
160 The main thing about your word is that it’s true;
and all your just rulings last forever.
"God’s Hesed" by Author: Jane Owen
Growing up, I never doubted my dad’s love for me. His loving heart faithfully provided all my needs and many of my wants. Once, when I’d started life on my own, I was short of funds–$50.00 in fact. I decided not to ask Dad for the money. Within a few days, a note arrived: “You might need this extra cash. Love, Dad.” I didn’t have to count the bills to know it was the $50.00 I needed.
Beyond the love of our earthly father, our Heavenly Father’s love flows with supernatural abundance. The Hebrew word for His superseding love is hesed. R. C. Sproul Jr. says, “The best translation . . . would be loyal love.”* Another definition is: “the consistent, ever-faithful, relentless, constantly pursuing, lavish, extravagant, unrestrained, furious love of our Father God!”**
Like the Psalmist, we unreservedly bring our petitions to our boundtiful God with full assurance of His limitless Love.
His hesed love compels us to spontaneous praise, unfettered petition, humble confession, and steadfast intercession. In Christ Jesus, we enjoy God's unreserved love, rejoicing and receiving in His Name. What a loving Lord and Father!

Hymn for Today: "The Love of God" by Frederick M. Lehman.
1. The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
And reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled,
And pardoned from his sin.
Refrain:
O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints’ and angels’ song.
2. When years of time shall pass away,
And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall,
When men, who here refuse to pray,
On rocks and hills and mountains call,
God’s love so sure, shall still endure,
All measureless and strong;
Redeeming grace to Adam’s race—
The saints’ and angels’ song.
Refrain:
O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints’ and angels’ song.
3. Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade,
To write the love of God above,
Would drain the ocean dry.
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.
Refrain:
O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure
The saints’ and angels’ song.
Thought for Today:
"Give thanks to Adonai, for he is good,
for his grace continues forever." [Psalm 136:1].
Plwease pray:
For those ministering in media to communicate the Gosple in Mesoamerica.
