What you do today for Jesus matters for eternity. Here's today's Bible Minute.
There's a lot more to life than what you see going on right now. Second Corinthians 5:9-10, "So whether here at home or away,"--that is, in the body or in heaven--"we make it our aim to please Him because we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body whether good or bad."
The things I do today in my body have an impact on what I receive, what I will enjoy for all of eternity. He's talking to people who throughout the ages have proven themselves faithful servants of the Lord. What we receive there at the Judgment Seat, we keep forever.
