Dear Friend of The Jewish Week:
Imagine a voice that informs our community, ignites informed conversations and inspires a deeper sense of Jewish connections.
That voice is The Jewish Week, and we need your assistance.
The last few years have been a time of dramatic change for the media business, and we are no exception. It has resulted in severe financial challenges for our newspaper and websites.
And it is precisely now, when authentic – not fake – news is needed most, that The Jewish Week plays a vital role in providing fair-minded and enterprising reporting that probes behind the headlines in our increasingly complex – and contentious – world.
The Jewish Week exists to serve this community, reporting on its activities and informing our readers through thoughtful analysis of local, national and Mideast events and trends. What makes us unique is that we also provide a range of educational projects for young people (Write On For Israel and Fresh Ink for Teens); enterprise reporting (The Jewish Week Investigative Journalism Fund) an annual retreat for creative, thoughtful and accomplished Jews from around the country (The Conversation); and our public events (The Jewish Week Forums), bringing major thought leaders to the community.
We ask you NOW to join us in a campaign to ensure our sustainability for years into the future and to ensure The Jewish Week will always be there for you and your family.
Your tax-deductible contribution to FJC, which holds donor-advised funds for The Jewish Week will enable us to continue our mission and to grow. Please support the important and good work we do.
Thank you for being a loyal reader and caring donor. We welcome either your one-time donation or the opportunity to set up a recurring donation as a Friend of The Jewish Week. All donors making a recurring donation will be invited to a special private “Friends of The Jewish Week” reception later this year.
We appreciate your support.
