John 13:31 After Y’hudah had left, Yeshua said, “Now the Son of Man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him. 32 If the Son has glorified God, God will himself glorify the Son, and will do so without delay. 33 Little children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me; and, as I said to the Judeans, ‘Where I am going, you cannot come,’ now I say it to you as well.
34 “I am giving you a new command: that you keep on loving each other. In the same way that I have loved you, you are also to keep on loving each other. 35 Everyone will know that you are my talmidim by the fact that you have love for each other.”

What is love? Love is a closeness and friendship toward another person. There are many kinds of love - romantic love, family love, love between friends and a Christian love that helps people who are sick or needy.
In our Bible Reading, Jesus said, "Love each other. You must love each other just as I have loved you" (verse 34b). Jesus was talking about Christian love. He commands us to simply love each other.
We can do many different things to show our love for others. We can make a meal, clean a house, babysit for a neighbor or visit a friend in the hospital. All these things show that we belong to God.
Mother Teresa was a woman who did many wonderful things for people. She said, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." Show God's love to other people today. Then they will know that we are God's children.
"All people will know that you are my followers if you love each other." [John 13:35]
PRAYER: Dear Lord, I need Your love so much. I want to love my friends and family like You taught me. In Jesus' name. Amen.
