Deaf Devo - The Deaf Missions in Council Bluffs, Iowa, United States for Tuesday, 4 July 2017 "Head (2)" Bible Reading: Matthew 10:29-31
Matthew 10:29 Aren’t sparrows sold for next to nothing, two for an assarion? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s consent. 30 As for you, every hair on your head has been counted. 31 So do not be afraid, you are worth more than many sparrows.

Another part of the head is hair. The Bible talks about hair as protection for the head, as something beautiful to look at and as a sign of honor.
Many people mentioned in the Bible had dark hair and some had red hair. Hebrew men grew long beards and were not supposed to cut off its edges (Leviticus 19:27).
Judges, chapters 13 through 16, tells us about Samson. He was a man who was dedicated to God. As a sign of this dedication, Samson was to never cut his hair. God's Spirit was with Samson and gave Him special physical strength. When Samson's hair was cut, he lost his strength.
Our Bible verses today have always amazed me. Verse 30 says that "God even knows how many hairs are on your head." This shows us that God knows everything about every person. God made you and loves you very much. Praise and honor Him today!
"I praise you because you made
me in such a wonderful way. I
know how amazing that was!" [Psalm 139:14]
PRAYER: God, I am so happy that You know me. Please guide me and give me strength to serve You today. In Jesus' name. Amen.
