The California-Pacific Conference is delighted to announce its #lemonface Challenge. When life hands us lemons, we turn them into lemonade. The Conference has raised almost $1M towards its $3M God-sized goal to help save 300,000 from malaria in sub-Saharan Africa. This is a tremendous accomplishment and one that we must certainly celebrate.
The Imagine No Malaria (IMN) #lemonface Challenge strategy asks people to invite others to join them in making a God-sized gift to help fund life-saving treatment and strategies to eradicate malaria in sub-Saharan Africa. Our remaining of $2M goal may seem like a sizeable amount, but together, we can do it! The California-Pacific #lemonface Challenge is about accepting the charge to accomplish what seems to be impossible.
The challenge – make a $100 gift or take a 1oz drink of lemon juice and film yourself making a #lemonface after drinking the lemon juice. Then, post the video on your social networks (Facebook, Twitter [#lemonface], YouTube) and challenge friends, family, and colleagues to join you in taking the #lemonface Challenge to eradicate malaria in sub-Saharan Africa.
Watch Rev. Stephen Hundley take the #lemonface challenge and make a $100 gift to Imagine No Malaria! Rev. Hundley and the entire Cal-Pac Mission Cabinet members are all participating in the #lemonface Challenge. Watch for funny videos featuring them in an upcoming email.
The suggested gift amount is $100, but every gift counts. All amounts are blessed gifts. If just one life is saved, together we have made a difference in the world. Won’t you join The Cal-Pac Conference in taking the #lemonface challenge to save lives from Malaria?” Visit www.buzzkills.net/lemonface to learn more and participate!
