Hi Cal-Pac Reconciling United Methodists! We hope you read this and pass it on to friends, and our pastors and church members in Hawaii. If you're in Hawaii, please consider going to this workshop.
We are so excited to do a workshop in Honolulu next month! In partnership with Harris UMC, Cal-Pac RMN, and the newly formed Hawaii Reconciling Ministries Team, RMN is sponsoring this workshop for persons who want to know what a Reconciling community is, how churches, campus ministries, and various ministry groups become Reconciling communities, and would like to help their own congregation/community or others through the Reconciling process. If you're curious, please consider coming!
The workshop will include skill-building around topics common in the Reconciling process including: complex sexual orientations and gender identities, framing, steps in the process, and graceful engagement. These workshops are free of charge. Lunch and snacks will be provided and donations are most welcome.
Your workshop facilitator is the Rev. Dr. Israel I. Alvaran, RMN Western Regional Organizer. If you have any questions, please contact Izzy at izzy@rmnetwork.org or call 312-448-5313. We hope you can join us!
