Worship: Sundays @ 8:15 am, 9:40 am, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm | Fridays @ 7:00 pm
Friends,
Yesterday I watched Trinity's Sunday worship service - the Children's Service - on our web site. Wow!!! It was such an amazing and wonderful service, from beginning to end; such great teaching, so well integrated, so many people involved. So, so proud of Elizabeth Jones and her team; and so grateful for everyone. And JD, Jay, and Alex, for the video, with insert from the screens - simply outstanding; very professional, excellent work. If you haven't watched a Trinity worship service online yet, do yourself a favor and do it now or soon. I went to the link at the bottom of our DSE, and it took me right to the Worship Service.
We hated to miss Sunday's services, but we were grateful to be able to officiate at the wedding of a "Trinity alumnus" - Bryon Gyllstrom (Tom and Helen are his parents; Erika, his sister, was one of the first to marry in our Chapel seven years ago), in Chevy Chase, Maryland, which is amazingly beautiful this time of year, with dogwoods, azaleas, red buds and tulips; also had some time to visit the ML King, Jr. monument, which is the one we hadn't yet seen. Oh, and a couple of days in Blacksburg, VA to celebrate Shevon's birthday. And then we rented a car and drove through the Shenandoah Valley (magnificent), and, if you're ever in that area, be sure to stop and go into the LuRay Caverns; wonderful, and we stayed at an old, Southern hotel in LuRay, called MinsLyn Inn; also recommended.
Now, we are so grateful to be back home, and look forward to preaching this coming Sunday - for Mother's Day. I hope to see you there.
Love and Prayers,
Dan
