Chabad for Saturday, September 12, 2015 - For the New Year: A thought and a request

Chabad for Saturday, September 12, 2015 - For the New Year: A thought and a request

By the Grace of G-d
Dear Friends and Family of Chabad.org,
Thank you very much for making this Chabad.org's most successful year ever!
In the final hours preceding the Jewish New Year, a thought and a request:
We are about to be steeped in prayers and shofars, apples and honey, synagogues and festively-set tables.
But the drama of Rosh Hashanah unfolds on a different plane:
A new life-force—a spiritual energy never before revealed—emerges to sustain the world, elicited by our prayers, our submission to G-d, and the piercing call of the shofar. Qualitatively, it is greater than the life-force of any previous year, and it causes the entire world to become new.
Though we cannot physically see this profound renewal, its effects are real. Suddenly, an unprecedented range of possibilities opens up for us. We can achieve things we couldn't—or wouldn't, or just didn't—before, things that seemed out of our reach.
In our personal lives this includes growing in Judaism in new, unprecedented ways.
In the context of the extraordinary challenges facing us around the globe, and especially in the Holy Land of Israel, the vitality of this new G-dly life-force—propelled by our own personal improvements—shields and safeguards His people and the entire world.
Indeed, Judaism teaches that every individual's good deeds are invested with the power to tip the balance of the global scales!
For us at Chabad.org this means, first and foremost, an even greater commitment to you to create ever more compelling tools, content and services to help facilitate this growth.
To help us achieve this, and to help evoke G-d's all-new blessings to grant you and yours a sweet new year, we urge you:
