"Hunger season" Dr. Emily Wroe, Partners In Health of Boston, Massachusetts, United States for Wednesday, 16 December 2015

"Hunger season" Dr. Emily Wroe, Partners In Health of Boston, Massachusetts, United States for Wednesday, 16 December 2015

Every winter brings the "hunger season" in Malawi—when crops run low and child starvation spikes.
But it gets even more dire: Last spring, torrential rain storms decimated desperately needed crops—making this hunger season even more severe.
As you read this, Gary, families are suffering. We must move quickly.
Please make an emergency gift of $15 today—and bring more care to more families in need.

Neno, Malawi, is the poorest district in the poorest nation where we work. Every day, poverty makes people sick and leads to suffering and starvation.
We need more therapeutic food that stops starvation in its tracks. More village health workers to find malnourished children. More screenings for secondary infections ranging from malaria to HIV to TB.
Together, we fight starvation every day. But this hunger season, we must do even more.
Please make an emergency gift today:
