The countdown to a New Year has begun!
The Upper Room looks forward to providing spiritual renewal to new people in new places in 2016. You are an important partner in our ministry.

This year . . .
The first Cuban-printed edition of El Aposento Alto was distributed to 8,000 Cubans.
The Upper Room launched MoyoLiving.org, an online resource that helps people, especially young people, connect spiritual practice with mission and social justice work around the world. The site was visited by over 17,000 persons in its first three months.
From the Emmaus office, we launched Journey to the Table and Face to Face, designed to reach specific life stage groups. Over 450 people have been involved in the testing and launching of these new efforts.
Over 200 people participated in the first eretreats and ecourses offered by Upper Room Online Learning, a new platform for online spiritual growth.
The Academy for Spiritual Formation held the first-ever Five-Day Academy in both Russia and Singapore.
Each day, volunteers prayed with over 800 people who submitted prayer requests by phone, email, or the public prayer wall of The Upper Room Living Prayer Center.
Walk to Emmaus leaders in Ghana, Kenya, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo are organizing to form a wall of prayer across Africa in an effort to stop the influence of terrorist groups like Boko Haram and ISIS from spreading further south.
45,000 copies of each issue of the daily devotional guide were distributed to military and prison chaplains.
