Bartleson, 80, a retired clergy member of the Great Plains United Methodist Conference passed away Sept. 27, 2016. Born March 18, 1936. Married Rose on May 27, 1961.John served these churches - Missouri East: Doniphan, East Prairie, Mt. Olivet, Chaffee, New Hope, New Mexico: Grand Falls, Dexter, Carrizozo, Santa Rosa, Oklahoma: Oneta New Creation, El Reno, Nebraska: Crawford-Whitney, Amherst-Bethel-Haven’s Chapel, Retired 1998.
He is survived by his wife, the Rev. Rose M. Bartleson of Visalia, California, four children and his grandchildren. He will be cremated, there will be no service, burial will be in Tulsa, Oklahoma at a later date.
