Release of FY2017 Adaptive Sports Grants
The Department of Veterans Affairs' FY2017 Adaptive Sports Grants will be released during the week of 25-29 September 2017. It was a very competitive application cycle with 215 applications that proposed a wide spectrum of adaptive sport activities throughout the United States. Due to a complex series of factors that would have limited the available funding for grants, the process took longer than normal, but resulted in achieving the full level of authorized resources for the program. As a result, the delay should result in providing a more robust and effective set of adaptive sport activities over the upcoming year. Thank you for your patience and the list of FY2017 Adaptive Sports Grant and their programs should be available very soon.
