World Methodist Prayer RoomBeauty is an aid to prayer. Here are pictures from the Prayer Room at the World Methodist event in Houston, Texas. Most of the 2,000+ participants have arrived and the opening worship service isWednesday evening.
Please pray for the Holy Spirit to fill the site and enable this body of Wesleyan leaders to worship in spirit and truth. Pray for wisdom and grace as they consider the work of a global church.
In addition, please note that our prayer community will begin a new eight week journey starting September 11, with Dr. Elaine Heath, dean of Duke Divinity School. We will be using her new book, God Unbound: Wisdom from Galatians for the Anxious Church.
