Minneapolis Church Holds Concert
to End Homelessness
NOTE from Ken: This is quite an unusual blast because it features a specific concert, however, he feels that because the cause is so noteworthy he felt that the event needed to be emphasized.
This concert on Sunday, June 18, at 7PM will be benefiting the Downtown Congregations to End Homelessness in the twin cities. Ken will be joined by StreetSong, the choir for people with experience in homelessness, led by Hennepin's Bill Mathis and Teri Larson from the Basilica of St. Mary. Now in their third year, they meet every Monday and sing for events all over the Twin Cities, from churches to the Central Library to the Ordway Center for the Arts. The Downtown Congregations to End Homelessness (DCEH) is an interfaith collaboration of 17 downtown Minneapolis churches, synagogues and mosques working together to end
homelessness.
