Makwakwa Reception for Wednesday, 7 June 2017 - Mission Church of the Nazarene in San Diego, California, United States

Good morning, worshiper!

Please join us this Sunday, June 11, in celebrating the Makwakwa family as they transition to Murrieta Gateway Church of the Nazarene, with a farewell reception in the courtyard in between services. There will be a table for gifts and cards, and a chance to connect with the Makwakwas before they leave. We are so grateful for the investment they have made in Mission Church, and are excited to send them into this new chapter of their lives.

Church Survey Report for Wednesday, 7 June 2017 - Mission Church of the Nazarene in San Diego, California, United States
Dear Friends,
I bring you greetings from the office of Mission Church of the Nazarene.  I wish you could hear the buzz of excitement and conversations about Jesus, like I get to do.  Your staff is working hard on vision casting and thinking about the future.  We are also busy preparing for a wonderful summer of ministry.
When you have a moment, take a look at the results of our all church survey.  We had a good participation level with some honest feedback.  As in the past, we could have filled the survey out as individuals, but the  opportunity to have a "round-table" discussion was intentional.  This served to launch us into a conversation as a community.  By the way, I really did enjoy simply having lunch together as a congregation.  Thank you for participating.  We all know that looking toward the future is not only healthy but very much a way that healing and hope comes to an organization.  At the same time, seeing health and spiritual growth is a high priority for me.  I congratulate you all on coming a long ways.  We have identified three categories that the greater amount of the survey results have fallen into; see if you can guess what those are.
Shortly, we will share with you the mission, goals and strategy that have come out of your responses.  Your participation has been the key here.  Your responses around the table that afternoon will have shaped our marching orders.  Matthew 28:19-20 overwhelmingly surfaced as the bases for those marching orders.  So fasten your seat belt, and let's see what God can do!
