Take Action Now: Proposed Medicaid Cuts Will Harm Family Caregivers
The Alliance joins other national coalitions in opposing cuts to the Medicaid program proposed in the Senate's Better Care Reconciliation Act (BCRA). This bill threatens the Medicaid program's support for home- and community-based services, long-term care services like nursing home care, and access to health care services. If this bill passes, millions of Americans will lose access to health and long-term care services, including low-income adults, older adults, people with Alzheimer's or dementia, people with disabilities, and children with special needs.
Call your Senators at 202-224-3121 and tell them you oppose the BCRA's devastating cuts and caps to Medicaid. Ask them to vote no to the BCRA and to save Medicaid. You can also join the conversation on social media and Tweet your Senators, using hashtag #SaveMedicaid.
