NEW HIGH HOLY DAY ARK
SPECIAL THANKS TO JEFF HARWIN
We are indebted to Jeff Harwin for building a new ark and reading table for our High Holy Day services held at Chaparral Christian Church. Jeff is a master woodworker and created and donated two masterpieces of wood for the temple.
Thank you, Jeff, for your hard work, generosity and kindness in creating our new ark and reading table. You are a true mensch.

WELCOME KATHY BREWER
TO THE EXECUTIVE OFFICES
Kathy Brewer, a longtime employee of Congregation Beth Israel has been appointed as the Executive Assistant within the administration department.
Kathy will be transitioning into this position with Ann Blackman's guidance and assistance. She will also work with Stacy Rosenthal to help with the transition process in the Religious School once we finalize a new hire. This will allow for a seamless transition all around. Please join me in welcoming her to the Administrative Offices and we are looking forward to her continued dedication and commitment to Congregation Beth Israel.

SAD NEWS
It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the death of Melvin Goldstein, father of David (Lisa) Goldstein, grandfather of Allison and Chad.
The private funeral service will be on Friday, June 26th at 10:30am at the National Memorial Cemetery.
There will be a shiva minyan on Saturday night the 27th at8:00pm at the Goldstein home - 6852 E Fanfol Dr in Scottsdale. May his soul be bound up in the bonds of Eternal life. May his family be comforted among all of the bereaved in Zion and Jerusalem.
