I want you to know about this important, BIG event coming up next Saturday, May 16. It is the First Annual Bed Race for Family Promise (formerly IHN) at the Santa Fe College Track and Trinity has 3 teams!
Team 1 is created by Trinity Yoots with Josh Wilson as Captain (Support them HERE).
Team 2 is the Trinity Staff Racer and I will be the Captain. The theme is "Away in a Manger." I'll be riding in the bed, but NOT as who you might think, but as Joseph, the father! (Support them HERE)
Team 3 is designed by the Marriage and More Sunday School class, their theme is Super Heroes & Villains with Tim Garrett as the Captain (Support them HERE).

Teams 2 & 3 still need pushers/runners for their beds (6 total). The race is 200 meters or half a lap on the track. The Race begins at 10 am, preceded by a parade of beds at 9:30, led by the P.K. Yonge Guard. This will be a really fun family event that will help those most vulnerable: homeless children and their families in crisis, and helps them regain sustainable independence. Please come out and join the fun and support a great cause.

Your time & presence: if you can't run, please come out and cheer for the Trinity teams!Family Promise serves homeless children and their families in crisis and helps them regain sustainable independence. Trinity has been active in this program since 1998, serving as a host congregation and providing financial support to the program.
Finally, I look forward to worshiping with at Trinity this Sunday for a special Mother's Day service.
