This Thursday -- A Helpful Hand
A doctor gives instructions on how we can become healthier. Do more of this, do less of that. Usually, the instructions to our physical health only relate to how we interact with ourselves. Recovery from a hurt or a habit is different. This Thursday, we will focus on the role others play in our ability to live forward. Join us as we learn what a helpful hand looks like and how to use it.

NEXT PRAYER CLASS: Thursday, Oct 29, for the one-night "Praying Out Loud" class led by Pastor Katherine Ebling-Frazier in Wesley Chapel. Learn more about our prayer ministry at cor.org/prayer.

REZVETS at Care Night: Sign up for the annual RezVets Veterans Dinner, which will be November 8, 2015, beginning at 6:30p.m. in the Student Center of Church of the Resurrection. Retired Air Force Colonel Kimberly Olson and founder of Grace After Fire, an organization offering outreach to female vets, will be our keynote speaker. You must sign up to attend and the deadline to do so is November 2. Please click here to sign up.
Help RezVets give assistance to homeless veterans through Operation Standdown. Mark your calendars for November 6, 2015, in the afternoon at Memorial Hall in downtown KCMO. We'll be packing away things and helping to clean up after the vets come through in the morning. Sign up to serve by clicking here.
