It's simple. Being a Christian is about loving our enemies, serving the needy, and seeking justice.

At is basic core, Progressive Christianity is about how we behave. We seek justice, love our enemies, serve the needy, and promote peace. We want to help churches, small groups and individuals throughout the world understand how this kind of behavior can change them and their communities. And we are willing to take a stand. Are you with us?

Before this organization was created over 20 years ago, progressive Christianity was not a term people knew existed and the majority of Christian leaders were teaching an outdated, irrelevant and exclusive theology.
We have helped change the face of Christianity forever. Today, many Christians are talking about evolution, inclusion, environmental stewardship and how they treat their ‘neighbor.’But we are not done. We need to do more than talk…We want to continue to affect action and policy, so that we can all live in a more just and peaceful world...
…and we can't do it without you.

"The only essential aspect of Christianity is its call to love beyond all of our security boundaries. That is what the Christ figure means and that alone cannot be compromised."[John Shelby Spong]
