Hi, I hope your weekend is off to a great start.
For most of us, summer has ended and the return to school and routine is in full swing.
I love that Jewish evangelism knows no stop and start date. Our missionaries worked clear through the summer—sharing the gospel, opening a new branch in Berlin, and engaging with non-believing Jews in incredibly creative ways.
I have one quick story to share. Last month, our Odessa Jubilee Campaign in Ukraine received an unbelievable response! A sold-out crowd of nonbelievers, including many Jewish people, heard the gospel of the Messiah proclaimed. Praise God!
When a Jewish person repents and follows Jesus it is a powerful testimony to the faithfulness of the everlasting Father. It affirms our calling to reach the Jewish community with the message of Jesus Christ.There is one more important thing I need to share with you.
While the work of the gospel always increases for us in the summer months, the financial support always declines. Because of this, we are currently facing a $300,000 budget shortfall. And yet there is still very important work that must go on!
We have ministry initiatives to purposefully reach Jewish people worldwide. We plan to launch a Europe-based social media campaign to reach young Jewish seekers online, specifically in Berlin. Missionaries are also standing by, ready to reach the Orthodox population in specific cities like Cape Town, South Africa.
Also, during the time leading up to the Jewish High Holidays we want to reach Jewish people in New York, London, and Paris. This is the greatest time of spiritual openness for the average Jewish person.
But to accomplish these initiatives, we must meet our $50,000 goal by September 30.
