INTERACTIVE LEARNING WITH MILLENNIALS
Have you ever wondered "Where are the millennials in our church?" Or thought, "We used to have such a large, active group of young people. What happened?" If so, Pastor Cleaver invites you to "Why ain't young adults coming to church? What do we do about it? Where do we go from here?" Don't miss this interactive learning session that attempts to answer these questions and more. Everyone is invited, so see you TOMORROW - Saturday, August 26 at 9:30 a.m. in the Ministry Mall. A continental breakfast will be served at 9:00a and the learning event will start at 9:30a.
X-CITING WORSHIP
Sunday Worship. Join us Sunday morning at 8a and 11a at the Paseo Campus and 10a at the Renaissance Campus. You can also join us online
for a live stream of the 8a and 11a worship celebrations each week.
Wednesday Night Live. Join us Wednesday, August 30 @ 7p in the Ministry Mall for our continuing exploration of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Led by Dr. 3 and the Pastoral Team, we wrestle with what the Bible says, the cultural context, people, places of the time and what it means for us today. Please read Numbers 15-19 for next week's study.

FAITH DEVELOPMENT
Senior Fitness & Bible Study. Join us at the Paseo Campus every Wednesday from 11-11:30a for light to moderate exercise done from the comfort of a chair! A trained fitness expert will guide you through exercises that help strengthen you, and the fellowship will help motivate you. Then, stay for Bible Study from 11:30a -12:30p and get strengthened in the spirit! Feel free to bring a dish and join us in the potluck lunch following our study time.
Bible Study at Renaissance. Join us Tuesday at 6:30p for Bible study at the Renaissance Campus. There is food, fellowship and the Word. Come out and grow with your church family!
Sunday School. There are three adult Sunday school classes offered this summer at St. James Paseo Campus. The classes are the Women's Sundayschool class, The Mixed Adult's Sunday school class, and the Men's Sunday School class.

CONGREGATIONAL CARE
Christian Sympathy is extended to the families of Daisy Mae Rosborough, mother of Debra Burbanks and Bernadette Bond, and grandmother of Toya (Michael) Flowers and Alisha (Cory) Stevens.

GriefShare. No matter what the circumstances, grief recovery is a painful process. The St. James GirefShare Support Ministry provides help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member, or friend and in a safe and confidential place that helps to put lives back together again. We will walk with you on the path through grief toward healing and hope for the future. Our group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives. GriefShare is comprised of a video seminar series that features some of the nation's foremost Christian experts on grief and recovery topics as seen from a biblical perspective coupled with support group discussions of these presentations. GriefShare Support Group sessions will be hosted every Thursday at 6:00p for 12 weeks. Prayer Class. Learn to build your prayer skills and deepen your faith development with Helen Walker every 4th Sunday at 9:45a Paseo Campus - Vaughan Chapel. The next class will be held on Sunday, August 27.
Compassionate Care. When you experience illness, the death of a loved one or if you would like prayer, we want to know so that we may provide compassion, encouragement and comfort during life's challenges. NEXT GENERATION MINISTRIES
Scout Recruitment Night
Join us Tuesday, August 29 at 6:30p for Cub Scout and Boy Scout recruitment. Cub Scouts are boys in 1st-5th Grades (Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelo Scouts). Boy Scouts are ages 11-18th. All newly registered Cub Scouts will receive a free "KC inspired" t-shirt. Come and see what all the fun is about!
