9:15am - Sunday School classes for all ages
10:45am - Worship Service
This Sunday, Pastor Estep will be preaching from Mark 10:1-12. After the offertory, children in grades 1-4 will remain in the sanctuary for a time of family worship.
6pm - Who is My Neighbor? (part 4)
This week, our regular Sunday evening service will be replaced by a study addressing how we might better love those around us. This Sunday, Kiersten Adkins will be speaking on reaching out to those struggling with mental illnesses.
All-Church Nerf Night/Game Night
All are invited to a game night/nerf night TONIGHT at 6pm! There will be board games in the youth room and nerf battles in the gym. Bring a game and a snack to share!
Ladies' Prayer Breakfast
Ladies of all ages are invited to a monthly prayer breakfast at Panera (at 103rd & State Line) at 9am. The group meets on the firstSaturday of every month and will meettomorrow.
Who Is My Neighbor?
This Sunday, our Who Is My Neighbor series will conclude at 6pm. Kiersten Adkins will be sharing about reaching out to those around us who are struggling with mental illnesses.
First Sundays
The youth group will be hosting their First Sundays event this Sunday at 5:30pm. Guys of all ages are invited to the annual carpetbag tournament at the Parkers' home, and the girls will meet at the Galloglys' house. Please contact Pastor Roland with any questions.
KC First Naz App
We now have a smartphone app developed by our Discipleship committee, which offers opportunities for daily devotionals and messages specific to our local church. Right now, we are currently in the midst of a 40-day reading plan through Scripture called "Engage the Word". You can download this app from the Apple or Android app stores by searching for "KC First Naz". Contact the church office if you have any questions.
Crazy Love
All are invited to a Wednesday night book study on Francis Chan's "Crazy Love: Overwhelmed by a Relentless God". The study will take place at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall and be led by Jim and Joni Real.
RADiCAL Divorce Recovery
Ladies of all ages are invited to join other women on a 10-week journey of moving forward and transforming their lives with RADiCAL (Rising Above Divorce in Confidence & Love). This study is open to all KCFC attenders, neighbors, friends, coworkers, and family. The group will meeton Tuesday nights at 7pm, beginningOctober 13. Class material fee: $85.
Harvesters' Backsnacks
We are currently in our second year of participating in a community partnership with Harvesters' BackSnack program and Butcher-Greene Elementary School. Each week, we pack 60 bags of food for children who have "food insecurity" over the weekends, which means they may not have enough food to eat at home.
