The Naz Youth Group is a family. We are a community of Christ-followers that exist to serve God. We also really like Dodgeball, come hang out with us!

Winter Camp registration IS OPEN!!
Last year we took 93 students to Winter Camp. For this year we have 80 spots and they are already filling up so get signed up now! If we reach our maximum early there is a possibility that we can get more spots but we can't sign up more until we fill our existing spots.
When: January 15-17

Important Dates In The Next Two Months
Sunday November 22 - Our 17th Annual "Turkey Bowl"
Flag Football Game. We'll start playing at12:30 pm on the Sunset View Elementary school sports field. All ages are welcome and families are very invited!
Tuesday November 24 - Make sure you bring the whole family, especially Grandma, for our annual Family Game Night! This is a fun evening with all ages from our church of board games, snacks, and friendships.
Friday December 4 - Our first annual Naz Youth "On Fleek" Formal! This is a Mid High only event.
October Is Pastor Appreciation Month
Every Fall we take time to pause and reflect on what our pastors at SDFC do for our church, community, and the youth ministry. We are blessed to have Rick and Jeremy serving as Youth Pastors in our church; however, we also want to extend this month of appreciation to make sure that families know how much the youth staff invest in this place. Between Mid High and Sr High we have approximately 40 adults that invest their time, emotions, and care week in and week out to love teens and be models of Christ in their lives. What a blessing! We encourage you to take a moment this month to pray for, encourage, text, or write a letter to your child's youth staff or leader for all that they do.
Early Summer Camp Signups
We know, it's the middle of October. So why are we talking about Summer Camp already?
Summer camp is one of the best weeks of student's lives and we've realized the degree to which money can make or break a family's ability to send their child to camp.
So, for the month of October if you sign your child up for Mid High Summer Camp 2016 with a registration form and a $50 deposit we will match your deposit! This is only available to the first 50 registrants so sign up while you can and take advantage of this one-time offer!
The total cost is $290 - so with a $50 deposit and our matching fund your remaining balance will go down to $190 with plenty of time to earn more scholarships and make payments to bring your balance to full. Because this is for summer camp next year this is offered for current 5th-8th graders. Invite a friend to come to camp with you and they can take advantage of this offer too!

Missions Opportunity
In August 2016 our church will be taking a team to Jean Rabel, Haiti for a week-long service trip. If you are interested in your child or family being part of this trip then please contact Jeremy ASAP to hear the information you need and to review the trip applications (due Dec 1).
Specific Ways to Give & Serve
Camp Scholarships: We try our best to keep our Youth Group activities and events free or at a low cost; but sometimes it is difficult for a family to afford sending their teen(s). This year we gave over $10,000 in scholarships for students to attend winter camp, Elevate, and summer camps. We begin fundraising almost as soon as camp is over. If you would like to give a one-time donation or a monthly donation towards student scholarships talk to Jeremy or Rick!
