Coming Soon: -Services of Healing and Hope-We will have two services Thursday, December 3, in the Wesley Covenant Chapel. The first service is at 5:30 pm and the second service is at 7:30 pm. There will be a community meal served from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm that evening. Please join us for this special event.

This Thursday -- Thankful When You Feel Like It
There are two times when we should be thankful, when we feel like it and when we don't. This Thursday we will talk about developing the practice of being thankful. Great things are happening around you all the time. Thankfulness helps you to deepen those great moments and even allow them to linger. Faith helps. Join us this Thursday. NEXT PRAYER CLASS: Thursday, November 12- This is the second week in a 3 week prayer class entitled "Managing the Stressful Life." This class will be led by Diane Breneman in the Wesley Chapel and begins at 6:30. Learn practices in this 3-week prayer class to intentionally transform the mind, emotions and physical body to facilitate a profound and healing connection to the Spirit of God. Thankful Day of Prayer Vigil and Prayer Walk: Tuesday, November 24-Join us in the Wesley Covenant Chapel from 6 am- 10 pm for a blessed day of Thankful Prayer and meditation.

REZVETS at Care Night: RezVets will not be meeting for the remainder of 2015. We look forward to meeting again in 2016!

Thursday, November 12: We will be attending the "Managing the Stressful Life" class in the Wesley Chapel. Learn practices in this 3-week prayer class to intentionally transform the mind, emotions and physical body to facilitate a profound and healing connection to the Spirit of God. This class will be held in the Wesley Covenant Chapel from 6:30-8pm. Following the class, we will then regroup in C050 for reflection and refreshments.
Singles Game Night-Friday, November 13 -Room C136 from 7-9:30 pm. Please bring a snack to share and your favorite game(s). This is a great way to meet new Friends.
Bowling - Sunday, November 15, 2015 BOWLING!!! Come out and enjoy a relaxing night of bowling at the AMF College Lanes, 10201 College Blvd., Overland Park, KS 66210. Bowling will be from 7-9pm. Cost is $6.53 (without shoe rental), $10 (with shoe rental). Details at cor.org/singles.
Self Defense Class for Singles & Friends-Wednesday, November 18- Self Defense Class for Singles and Friends, Leawood Police Department, 6-8pm. Leawood Police Officer Mark Chudik is offering to host a free, fast and fun two-hour self-defense class at the Leawood Police Department located at 4201 Town Center Drive behind Hen House. Officer Chudik will cover delay and escape tactics with moves that are easy to learn and to remember. The class is held on floor mats, so your attire should be comfortable gym clothes. No shoes will be allowed on the mats. Participants must sign a waiver. If you have not done so, please contact Pastor Cheryl Bell or Kay King to reserve your space on the mats!
Thanksgiving Day-Details coming soon on sharing a meal together.
