At the Alliance
#TalkBrainHealth Join the Alliance and the Alzheimer's Foundation of America in a month-long social media conversation on how family caregivers can talk about brain health and memory screenings with their loved ones. Military Caregivers Webinar - Caregiving as an Older Adult Join Easter Seals and CEO Gail Gibson Hunt for a free webinar for military families on caring for an older adult. The webinar is this Thursday, 11/5 at 2pm ET and you can register here.

30 Days of Caregiving Blog Family Caregiver Alliance is hosting a 30 Days of Caregiving Blog with new posts on caregiving-related issues each day this month. Check it out here.
#Take1Moment for Alzheimer's Campaign Former restaurateur, author and TV host B. Smith has partnered with leaders in the caregiving community including Allergan and Caregiving Action Network to launch a campaign to #Take1Moment to recognize the family caregivers of those with Alzheimer's disease. For each of the first 1,000 hashtags, the campaign will provide a thank you meal to a caregiver, through Chef'd.
Random Acts of Kindness for Caregivers AARP is encouraging families and friends to surprise caregivers in their lives with a "random act of kindness" - just a small gesture that makes him or her feel appreciated and loved. Afterwards, share the story (in 150 words or less) here. AARP will select 12 winners next March to share a $10,000 prize.
Virtual Caregiving Fair Participate in a national, virtual caregiving fair hosted by AARP on November 19th from 12pm - 4pm ET. Caregivers can connect with others on issues related to health, finances, and legal planning. Learn more here or register here.
